The Apprentice's Companion to General Biology will make maximal use of everyday materials so that overall costs should be very manageable. Each of the twelve chapters includes one experiment (a full class day) and two short activities (approximately 10-15 minutes) for an approximate total of 36 activities with a hands-on lab interaction every 3-4 days. The first four chapters will be ready and available for Fall 2020, and new experiments will be developed as the year progresses.
