This text is about 80% physics and 20% basic chemistry and is designed to prepare students to go on to Chemistry for Accelerated Students. The math is Algebra I level, but the exercises are intentionally a little more challenging. Textbooks feature clear objectives lists at the beginning of each chapter, while answers to calculation exercises are provided right on the same page. The six lab experiments for this book emphasize procedures and skills used in real science labs.
