Teresa Chapman Joins Catholic Textbook Project Sales Team

Catholic Textbook Project, the premiere publisher of history textbooks for Catholic schools, welcomes Teresa Chapman of Columbus, Ohio, to its expanding sales team, effective immediately. Chapman’s territory for the history textbook publisher is all Catholic schools and dioceses within the states of Indiana, New York, Michigan (with the exception of the Diocese of Marquette), Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

“Terry is a seasoned sales rep with a substantial sales background in both elementary and high schools in the Northeast,” says Matt Sumers, vice president of marketing and sales for Catholic Textbook Project. “We’re delighted to have her as part of our growing sales team.”

Previously Chapman served as a sales consultant for Saint Mary’s Press for six years, responsible for all avenues of consultative sales cycle for curriculum throughout the Northeastern states.  A top producer who has a proven record of exceeding expectations, her key attributes include serving clients with integrity, confidentiality and a servant’s heart.

During a prior five-year sales consultant tenure with Pearson Education, Chapman increased territory revenue 200% and earned a Top Sales Award.  She has also served as Director of Children’s Education at the Newman Center, at The Ohio State University, in the diocese of Columbus. During her tenure here she increased enrollment and participation. Chapman earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, OH.
