Writers and Staff

These are the writers and editors who are producing the ten volumes of the new history series. All of them are Catholic teachers and writers of long experience – men and women who love their subject and who love what these books will do for the Faith of the students who use them. A partial list follows:

Douglas L. Alexander, M.A.
Mr. Alexander is on the board of CSTP and is a contributing editor and author of the series. He is a Catholic teacher and writer currently residing in Washington.

Ana Braga-Henebry, M.A.
Mrs. Braga-Henebry has an art degree from the St. Teresa d'Avila College, Brazil, and a Masters in Humanities/Aesthetic Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas. From 1994 to 2002, Mrs. Braga-Henebry
reviewed children's and parenting materials for Parent Council, LTD and, since 2006, has written reviews for Love2Learn, the premier Catholic resources reviews site. Mrs. Braga-Henebry writes a monthly feature for Faith & Family Live and has worked on a variety of writing projects. She has also been on the editorial board of the national Catholic homeschool periodical, Mater & Magistra, for which she writes feature articles and book reviews.

Kenneth J. Kaiser, Ph.D.

Dr. Kaiser is a Catholic writer and teacher who advises the Project in areas of political philosophy and American history.

Ellen & Carl Rossini
Dallas, Texas
Ellen and Carl Rossini are Catholic writers and wrote Volume 6 of the History Series - All Ye Lands: Origins of World Cultures.

Christopher Zehnder
A graduate of Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula, California, Mr. Zehnder was for many years a secondary-school teacher of history, theology, Latin, English grammar and literature, and classical literature and served as headmaster of middle and senior high school in California. He has 15-years experience as an editor of two monthly periodicals and has had articles published in a number of journals. Mr. Zehnder is the editor and chief storyteller of Light to the Nations, Part I, The History of Christian Civilization and is the main author of the companion volume, Light to the Nations, Part II, The Making of the Modern World. Besides these volumes, he wrote From Sea to Shining Sea: The Story of America.  

Rollin Lasseter, Ph.D. (Dr. Lasseter passed away in May, 2008)
A prolific Catholic teacher and writer Professor Lasseter was the founding partner and general editor of the Catholic Schools Textbook Project. We continue his work and passion to get Catholic textbooks into Catholic schools.
